Serendipitous Seniors

Serendipitous Seniors group is a non-traditional approach to mental health support that specifically targets the needs of seniors from various communities in the Macon-Bibb area. This program is designed to help seniors improve their quality of life through meaningful activities and group participation while creating a sense of belonging. Participants receive resources and access to no-cost mental health. Activities include bingo, music, art, and exercise (walking); and there will be conversations on mental wellness and how to support, enhance, and sustain your mental health. Originally, when people think of retirement age they often envision living in silence and loneliness. However, this group does much more than that — we organize exciting events designed to bring joy and entertainment into seniors' lives.
