About the Event

The MMHM Alliance is a multidisciplinary team of individuals and organizations that meet monthly to address mental health & wellness topics in Macon-Bibb County.

The purpose of this body is to function as a conduit through which all things "mental health" will flow. The alliance will work to develop a body of knowledge that supports the vision and mission of MMHM. Each member shares his or her skill set in a manner that benefits the entire community. Additionally, with the help of developing subcommittees who will work outside of the preliminary meeting to continue the organization's growth and change our community's mental health. Our strategic goals include:

  • Collaboration to raise awareness of mental health issues
  • Community of trauma-informed culturally competent individuals and organizations
  • Collective effort use 1 language
  • Leaning on mental health advocates
  • Potential funds at CFCG
  • Sticker for website for MMHM no-cost
  • Access to no-cost training and CEs
  • Reflective consultation
