The 2025 Macon-Bibb Community-Wide ACEs Report is here. This year’s findings reflect the voices, stories, and lived experiences of our community—and serve as a call to action for healing and systems change.
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)—such as abuse, neglect, and household dysfunction—can have lasting impacts on physical health, mental wellness, and overall life outcomes. By understanding ACEs, we can take the first step toward building a healthier, more resilient Macon-Bibb.
At Macon Mental Health Matters (MMHM), our mission is to go beyond the data. Through trauma-informed engagement, interviews, and tools like our Teranga counseling sessions, we centered both insight and care throughout the process. This year’s report highlights local ACEs data, community concerns, and shared visions for change.
